Currently there are more then 1.4 million people living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in the United States. Our goal is to raise awareness and empower Crohn’s
and colitis patients live active and fulfilling lives.Brian Greenberg, the founder of the I.I.F. was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age 11. Throughout his ongoing battle he remains dedicated to overcoming the often debilitating obstacles in his path. Whether reaching higher education or reaching mountain tops, the challenges brian faces because of his condition are trying to say the least. Now he wants to help and connect others with these conditions to assist them in overcoming Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Intense Intestines Foundation will host events including hiking, climbing, skiing, kayaking and other adventures with necessary amenities provided, for IBD patients and their family. During these adventures, they will meet, bond, and share their stories with others while partaking in healthy, safe and exciting activities.
